ACHIV PRIVACY POLICY

Achiv ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Achiv mobile application (the "App").

By using Achiv, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

1.1 Information You Provide

  • Display Name: You may optionally provide a first name during onboarding. This is stored locally on your device and is used solely to personalize your in-app experience (e.g., greeting you on the home screen).

  • Tasks, Goals, and Lists: All tasks, goals, checklists, and related data you create within the App are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.

1.2 Information We Do Not Collect

Achiv does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. We do not use analytics services, tracking tools, or third-party data processors. We do not collect your email address, location, device identifiers, or usage analytics.

1.3 Device Permissions

Achiv may request the following optional device permissions:

  • Notifications: To send you task reminders and nudges that you configure within the App. You may decline or revoke this permission at any time through your device's Settings.

  • Calendar Access (Read-Only): To import events from your local device calendar into Achiv as tasks. Calendar data is read from your device, converted into tasks stored locally, and is never transmitted off your device. You may decline or revoke this permission at any time through your device's Settings.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

All data you create in Achiv -- including tasks, goals, lists, and preferences -- is used solely to provide the App's functionality. Specifically:

  • To display and manage your tasks, goals, and checklists

  • To deliver local notifications for task reminders you configure

  • To import calendar events you select into the App

  • To personalize your experience with your display name

  • To remember your preferences (e.g., haptic feedback, onboarding completion)

We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, profiling, or any purpose other than providing the App's core functionality.

3. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY

All data is stored locally on your device. Achiv does not operate servers, databases, or cloud infrastructure. Your data never leaves your device unless you choose to back up your device through Apple's iCloud or iTunes backup services, which are governed by Apple's own privacy policy.

We do not have access to your data at any time.

4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

4.1 Apple StoreKit

Achiv uses Apple's StoreKit framework to process in-app subscriptions (Achiv Premium). All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not receive, store, or have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or billing details. Subscription management is handled through your Apple ID account. 4.2 No Other Third Parties

Achiv does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking services.

5. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Achiv is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to remove such information.

6. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

Since all data is stored locally on your device:

  • You may delete individual tasks, goals, and lists at any time within the App.

  • You may clear all App data through the Settings screen within the App.

  • Uninstalling Achiv will permanently remove all App data from your device.

We do not retain any data after the App is uninstalled.

7. YOUR RIGHTS

Because Achiv stores all data locally on your device and does not transmit data to external servers, you maintain full control over your data at all times. You may view, modify, or delete any data within the App at any time.

8. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
